As you may already know, many household items may be used for various purposes.  For instance, using thumb tacks in place of nails creates a damage-proof alternative when hanging small pictures because they decrease the risk of damages to walls.

Another great multi-purposed household item is dryer sheets.  You can use dryer sheets to dust your electronic devices.  The current in the dryer sheets magnetizes dust and protects your electrical devices from damages caused by harsh chemicals.

Tell me about your multi-purposed household items!! He look forward to connecting with you!!

This cleaning tip may be universal knowledge, but bleach is the best way to ward of bugs and rodents, such as roaches and mice.  When moving into a new space, clean with bleach, as well as put down roach traps and boric acid.  To maintain a bug- and rodent-free environment, spray bleach on your counter-tops and behind your refrigerator and stove.

To maintain the shine on your waxed and finished floors, it is best to mop the floors with cold water and a subsidizing agent, such as hand soap, dish detergent without bleach, or a very small amount of shampoo

Do not use; and I repeat, do not use Lysol, bleach, ammonia, or any other harsh chemicals on waxed and finished floors. These chemicals will strip your floors into a lackluster finish.  If you used those chemicals on your floors, then you should have just thrown your money down the drain.

No lackluster floors allowed!!

When cleaning residential spaces that are roach-infested best practices are to wear light-colored clothing.  Wearing light-colored clothing helps to spot any roaches that may be on you and your staff.  Most of you refuse to wear light-colored clothes because they may be harder to clean after cleaning a really dirty space.

However, dark-colored clothes hide roaches, and may cause you to take one or two home with you. It is better to wear a light-colored  clothes than to wear dark-colored clothes and to pick up and take home unwanted visitors. Remember to always wear light-colored clothing when cleaning!!

Hoarding tops the list of the biggest mistakes that homeowners make, especially when they hoard paper and plastic bags, cardboard boxes, and old wooden furniture.  These places, literally and cynically, provide roach hotels and hostels.  They also serve as safe-havens for roaches to live and breed.

Please remember, once infested, always infested. When your home becomes infested with roaches the best thing to do is throw away the items where the roaches congregate and hide.

Bottom Line: Get rid of everything!! Throw it away and let it go!!
